Busy Weekend!

So if you’re living in England you’ll know that we’ve just had our last bank holiday weekend for a while (I think until December at least!!) so I thought I would share what I got up to over the past weekend!

Friday 25th:

I had to go to work which wasn’t too pants as we had Debs, Sophie and myself working which is always a good time, my work nutters! Wasn’t too busy either so that was a big ol’ result to not be all stressed out before the weekend! After work, I had arranged with bestie darlin rachael that we would go and buy all the bits to make Lilies birthday cheesecake after picking up lil Joshua from CHUMs holiday camp, alas the traffic was awful so we followed Joshua’s request which was like music to our ears –

“Mummy can we go to the station?”

Of course we agreed and laughed at his request! So off we went, sat outside in the lovely sunshine, had a pint of beer and played a game of frustration with our lil man! Lovely jubbly, does it get better than this? Oh yes it does – chips and curry sauce for dinner!! If you know me – you know curry sauce is my absolute faaaaaaave!!!! Since we had such a busy weekend planned we thought it’d be best to go back to Rachael’s to get Joshua an early night and to also watch a scary film! πŸ‘»β˜ οΈπŸ˜ˆ Lauren popped round and us girls ended up chatting for ages about usually girly toot and forgot to chose a film! But a lovely evening nonetheless, the impromptu ones always are!

Saturday 26th:

We woke up early to seize the day! Earliest Saturday morning I have had in a while – 7:30am I was up! After the previous attempt to go get the cake bits we decided to go this morning before our boat trip this afternoon and sort it! We brought so so many bits! A cheesecake as a base (we wouldn’t have time to make a cheesecake from scratch!! 😀) topped with Galaxy Caramel, Party Rings, Mikado’s, Strawberrys & Kreme Krispy Kreme doughnut, chocolate chips, Meringues, Fruit Pastilles, Jelly Babies, Kinder Buenos, Custard Creams (for the biscuit queen herself!) and plenty of champagne style candles – which again 110% for the wine queen herself! After a mad rush sorting the cake it looks absolutely MEGA fantastic!

(Warning: don’t drool on the screen or look if you’re on a diet)

Admit it – it looks fab!! πŸ˜›πŸ˜πŸŽ‚πŸ© So off Rachael and I popped up to the Smyths to get on the brilliant COMMUNTY BUS 🚌 (πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) to go to Walton to see the Seals and Birds! With picnics and drinks all set off we went on our day out & it was actually bloomin brilliant! Such fun and so many laughs! Our boat driver took a strong attraction to Lilie which obviously we found far more hilarious than she did!!

It was nice to meet more of Will’s family too, and to spend proper quality time out of Wivenhoe! After a lovely lovely day out, I decided I was going to go with my mum as her “plus one” to Sean and Ginny’s wedding as she didn’t have a date or anyone to go with, I hated the thought of her turning up on her own and feeling lonely and sad by it all! I was only planning on staying for about an hour to get her there and settled but it was a right hoot so I didn’t get home until about midnight! Really fabulous night and the venue looked amazing, potential idea for where I may host my 21st birthday! (It’s 4 months 1 week 6 days and 3 hours until my birthday, just incase you were wondering πŸ˜πŸ€“)

Sunday 26th:

I. Hated. Myself. WHY DO I DRINK SO MUCH WINE?! And WHY (oh god please tell me why!!) do I do this to myself the night before I have work and another party to go to!! Why why why why why!! 😫🀒 Off to work I went with my hungover feeling sorry for myself self and worked it off, only for a few hours though as I had Lilies birthday BBQ party day to go to later!! πŸŽ‰ it was such a lovely day weather wise which made it even more fantastic for our girl Lilie! Everyone was on top form & loved the snapchat filter that I had brought for her birthday! Fab idea & really really not that expensive!! I had also got in contact with a bouncy castle ‘disco dome’ to have which was a success with the kids during the day and an even bigger success with the drunken lot later in the evening!!

Monday 28th:

Woke up, hungover again, working again. WHY! Work wasn’t too bad today, I kept myself busy and preoccupied to avoid thinking about personal issues and ran the shift brilliantly, if I do say so myself!! Despite how rubbish things get, my work friends are always absolutely brilliant and I love them all!! Mum is staying at Trevor’s house in Dover so isn’t here tonight so I thought I would treat myself and buy a cheese board to take home from work, watch a tonne of Jane The Virgin (I seriously suggest watching it! I have fallen in love!!) and shut off from the world! Although I was rattled greatly when Wispa stole a big ol chunk of goats cheese off of my plate and wolfed it down!! Absolute little bugger but she is far too cute – I couldn’t possibly stay mad for more than 2.5 seconds πŸΆπŸ˜‚

So that was my weekend! Leave me a comment about what you did over the weekend, I would love to hear and get some ideas to plan more fun filled weekends! Although now, it’s time for rest – I am pooped!! 😴😴😴😴
